Last week Friday, we decided to go to KL to visit some universities there to know more about their courses and facilities... The universities that we are interested in is Taylor's Lakeside Campus... So on the first day (Friday), after we reached the LDP Highway, we went to check their new Lakeside campus out...

Taylor's Lakeside Campus can be seen from the highway itself... So imagine how big the building is... After going through some confusing roads (with the help of Zam's PAPAGO of course), we finally reached the campus... From the first view inside the car, it was totally awesome!!! I was really can't wait to taste the fresh air in KL...

But the minute I went out of the car was a COMPLETELY different experience!!! It smells like SH*T!!! Not inside the campus though... It was in the carpark area... I wonder why it smells soooo badly... I don't know whether there's a zoo nearby the college or something else... Zam said it was from the construction area... I said it's from the lake itself... :P

Hostel + some parking bays still in construction...

The 3 academic blocks

Left is the hostel and right is the administration block

Admin Block with cafeteria below it

Man-made!!! :D

Anyways, we walk beside the lake, just to enjoy the "fresh" air... Check out the videos below... It's totally awesome campus what they call it, state-of-the-art campus... :) After we went inside the administration building, we were briefed about the courses that we are interested in... After that, we went to check out their buildings... Not too far because "someone" wanted to go back!!! Arghhh...

Newly-Build, Taylor's Lakeside Campus!!!

After the wonderful lakeside campus tour, we went to KLCC@Petronas Twin Towers... This was my FIRST time going there actually and was very excited sitting in the car watching the building from the highway... After finding some parking spot inside KLCC, I had the first glimpse of the building... I saw this huge center opening and was thinking about it... Then I ask, "Which tower is it? North or south??"... My friends said we were not inside the tower yet... I was like WHAT??? Seriously??

The pride of Malaysia!!!

Basically I was standing inside the Suria KLCC shopping complex... Haha... So the guys went out for a smoke and that's when I saw this huge structure of Petronas Twin Towers... For the first time, I was looking up so high just too see the tall structure completely... :D That's when I started to snap some pictures... Navin did the same... :P

Suria KLCC Shopping Mall

After having lunch in the KLCC, we went to check out some apartments for us to stay... Err, kinda... :P We were searching, and searching and searching till the sunset falls in KL... Me, Zam and Gushan walked around the city center for more than 2 freaking hours just to find a right place to stay... But we failed... It was raining shortly after that... Haha...

During this time, we went to a hotel, I think it's equitarel hotel something... That's when we saw this awesome cars coming in front of our eyes!!! It's Ferrari!!! 24 of them!!! Haha... Check the video out below... Never seen such many ferrari in my life... Even for my friends also... Hehe... BTW, they all came from Singapore and they are part of the F1 crews... So, go figure... :P

I shall call it, The Ferrari Frenzy!!! Hehe...

After the Ferrari Frenzy, we get into Zam's car and off we head to Bukit Bintang... After going through some heavy traffic, we managed to spot some few budget hotels near there... We parked the car (in other hotel's basement) and went on foot again to check it out... We went like 3 hotels and finally found a perfect one!!!

Sun goes off, Neon lights goes on!!! It's KL baby!!!
*With traffic jam!!*

Took this pic around 4am!!! Haha... It's KL!

It's RM510 for 2 nights and each of us have to pay for RM65... How cheap is that??? Well, actually there were 8 of us staying inside the room, so yeah... :P Somehow we persuaded the receptionist to allow 8 people staying inside 1 room... Hehe... Quickly we called in our other friends and checked-in the room... Kinda hard to sleep at the sofa but I managed to sleep in... :D

This was the sofa that I slept for two freaking nights!!!

Took this from our hotel room... And it's 4am!!! Can't believe it?

So the next day (Saturday), we went to check out Sunway University College which is in, well, in Bandar Sunway of course... :P BTW, Bandar Sunway is a huge freaking city with Sunway logo everywhere!!! Literally, Sunway is the ruler in that place!!! Sunway Pyramid, Sunway Medical, Sunway HQ, Sunway Landscape, Sunway Park and even Sunway Police!!! Haha...

Sunway's very own city!!! :D

During the time we went, Sunway had the open day thingy from 9-5... Well, we were late actually... Late like 4.30pm?? :P So the PR guy was kinda slow and lazy to answer our questions... We understand that so we just took some papers and went inside to check the cafeteria out... Milo Ice was niceeee... And it's 80 cents... :D Not many students though, coz it's 5pm?? :P

Ice-skating inside the complex!!!
Wanted to go but lots of people... :(

So after that, we went to window shopping at Sunway Pyramid... The building, is also a huge shopping complex... Much bigger than Jusco Tebrau City... And we lost our way inside the building too... :P After had our lunch there, we headed back to our hotel and took rest... The next day (Sunday), the fun is over and we headed back to our home, JB!!! :D

Had a 2 nice, awesome and fun-filled days in my life... My first time going to KL and enjoyed it damn a lotttt... I can't believe I'm going to study there next year... Hehe... Can't wait to go back again... In total, what I can say about KL is, a fun-filled, dangerous, heavily jammed, hazy, tourist and jam-packed place with lots of shops and places to travel... It's worth to mention that KL gives you lots of confusing roads, for FOC!!! Haha... KL = Kay Hell or Kuala Lumpur? You decide... Hehe.. Till then, see ya'll...

Today, me and Zam went to watch Vinnai Thandi Varuvaya, (Will You Cross The Sky For Me) at Jusco... Kinda persuaded Zam to follow me... Otherwise I'll be watching alone... Hehe... Now let's get into the movie...

I'm not going to blow up the plot of the story here... Just gonna share my point of view of the movie... As the title, it's a romantic movie which I suggest you guys to go watch with your boy/girlfriend... It's well suited for them... There is a twist in the movie, which you may know after you completely watch it... Again, I'm not gonna boil it out... Find out by watching it yourself... Hehe...

Karthik is played by Simbhu and Jessie is played by Trisha... Both of the actors played and showed their characters very well, as if they are real couples... There's a real chemistry with them that makes this as a natural romantic movie... Ganesh is acting as Karthik's friend... He too, well portrayed his character as well... Both of these guys makes the audience laugh especially when they both arrested by police in Kerala...

Now let's talk about music... A.R. Rahman is the music director for this movie... This will be the 1st movie he's working with Gautham, the director of the film and after winning two oscars for Slumdog Millionaire... He composed 7 songs for the movie out of which only 2 are really great to listen... The rest are just so-so only... I was expecting some top-notch songs from him but he disappointed me... Even the background score, at some point of the movie, doesn't seem to fit the story... When you're breaking off with a guy, will you expect to listen some guitar music playing?? Hmm...

On the direction part, Gautham did his best for the film... I can say Vinnai Thandi Varuvaya is one of his best film after Varanam Aayiram... VA gathered some good reviews and lots of awards... VTV is gonna be the next movie for Gautham and will mark his important milestone for his direction career... The picturization of the movie as well the songs are well made... The editing was done as crisp as possible and the stunts are just perfect to the storyline...

Overall, I rate VTV 8/10... 2 marks less because of the background score by ARR... I'll be expecting the next project by Gautham in which he's working on a thriller story... So till then, catch you on another review...

Ulagathule yevolu ponnuge iruthu, naa yan Jessie love panne?

* Warning!!! Will be loaded with pictures and videos!!! *

Lots of things happened last week and this week... I'm gonna talk about this week only... Last week isn't my best week... Because of some some... Don't wanna go through it right now... Hmm...

Lots of happy stuff happened this week, except of the exam of course... Hehe... Well, monday is our e-com exam... Since we're prepared for this, we can answer it easily... But have to write damn long sentence... Was in pain after I finished the exam... Hehe... Actually our exam starts at 2pm... So we got enough time to prepare before that...

The next is our revision day... Well, it was suppose to be the revision day for me... Came to college around 9am and cannot study... Don't know why... After 30 minutes, Zam came over... He too, can't study... He suggested to go have some breakfast in E&Y... I think he misses roti canai... Hehe... After that, both went back to college and tried to study again which, FAILED!!! It's damn ARS subject...

So we both planned where to go afterwards... Haha... Yes I know... Revision time go somewhere ah? But what to do... If you can't study, don't force it to yourself... That's my motto... After some serious discussion, we both planned to go to Danga Bay office to get the brochure for some condominium... Zam was "too shy" to ask the girls sitting at the counter... Haha... When he say that to me, I was laughing damn hardly... Too shy??? Are you serious??? :P

On PLUS Highway

After getting the brochure, Zam say he wanna bring me to somewhere near second link... They are building some luxury houses there... So off we went by taking Perling highway... The driver didn't seem to realize that he's heading towards PLUS highway... He was "forced" to pay the toll fees... Oh well... :P

After going through some unknown territories of Nusajaya, we managed to find the place... It's called, Leisure Farm... Errr, farm??? :P We managed to find the "farm" by using Zam's Papago, by using a long route of course... Well, it's Papago... It's designed to take us by using longer route... My Garmin won't do that... :P

Are we there yet??? Hehe

After we reached the "farm", we were blocked by a farmer, I mean the security guard... Hehe... And we were given this BIG signboard, VISITOR... I suggest the immigration of JB or singapore that every time we go to Singapore or Singaporeans coming here were given this signboard... It's well suited for them... Hehe...

VISITORS!!! :P

After going through some security process, we managed to slip through the farm and enjoy the beautiful views of the farm... Why I keep saying farm? It's Leisure farm... :P BTW, the houses there are awesomely beautiful... Me and Zam like the house which a "river" runs through it... It's very harmonic... After spending few time at the showhouse, we went back to home...

River running outside

It's not as easy as you think... It's damn long roads which runs in a zig-zag pattern... With Fortuner in Zam's hand, imagine what he'll do with it... It's the same thing on what he did when we went to KT... Zig-Zag road + heavy rainfall = perfect disaster... Remember that Zam? :P

Heavy heavy rainfall!

That's it... The next day, ARS exam!!! This time, the exam starts at 2pm so we got pretty good time to study... Well, at least try to study... :( The paper, when I opened, almost gave me a shock which happened when I opened Micro papers in 3rd sem... It's really surprising that I had the same feeling which I had in Micro which is "I'm sooo gonna fail this paper". Whatever I studied, came opposite to it... I somehow managed to answer it... :(

Oh well... After the exam, me and Zam had a small bash at Station1 cafe near the college... Another surprising thing happened there too... When I ordered the "Chicken & Cheese Pizza", I thought there will be 4 small slices of Pizza... When the food came, there were 4 slices of Pizza... This time, it doesn't look like Pizza anymore... I think it's 1/4 the size of actual Pizza... So freaking small... Zam knew I wasn't full, so he ordered some "extraz" hehe... The Chocolate shake was damn nice... Only that!!! Nothing else...

At night, we planned to go Danga Bay again, this time to play bumper car... I never played it before so it was really new to me... Yes yes... 20 years and I haven't played the bumper car?? You're kidding??? Well, err... It's kinda long story so I'm not gonna explain in here... For short, it's family restrictions! That's all that I can say... BTW, had a good time playing that... The malay guy who was playing with us is kinda "hyper-activated" I think... He's the one who initiated the "bumping" to both of us... I still have the pain in my leg because of the sudden jerk when I bumped to the cars... :)

Yesterday, we both went to college... Zam got one more exam resit paper so he was studying for that... Me, well, just for fun went there... :P Again, we both went to E&Y to have breakfast... This time for thosai... Hehe... Around 12, we both went back home... Asttha called me while I was on the way back... Actually, we both planned to play bowling but I thought she was joking... So off I went to Jusco, parked my car there and went with Asttha's car...

Went to Danga "City" Mall and played some games in there... Had good time in there... Got my 1st strike after so long... In bowling of course... :P For lunch, we went back to Jusco for Pizza Hut... Zam was there too... He wanted to buy some stuff and meet someone... :D

Didn't get it right... Hmm...

Haha... It's a strike!!! What can I say?
Practice makes perfect!!!

During the whole journey whenever I go with Zam, we met lots of police... Seriously... It's like telling us something... Which I don't know... Zam got excited because he thought it's a sign that he's gonna be policeman soon... Everywhere we go, morning or night, sure at least we spotted 1 policemen going around... The most was when we're going to Leisure Farm... Wondering why... :P

New Police car... I saw this on TV but this is the first time I saw live...
BTW, it's permas bridge... :P

So that's how the week went... Had tons of fun, excitement and enjoyment... Really feel a lot better now after some incident happened last week... Really want to thank Zam because of his time and money spent during these journey... Whatever I wanted to do, happened this week... I'm really happy for that... Thanks to Zam and Asttha... You both made my day a lot better... :)

Since the exam finished, we got 3 weeks of holiday... Can't wait to watch VTV tomorrow... And next week, we're planning to go KL to find some info on the universities there... Till then, check you guys in another update... Happy Holidays!!!

Pahang Maran Temple's Visit

My family and relative suddenly planned to go to Pahang... So we just had 1 day to prepare... Hehe... At 5am, we all wake up and head to PLUS highway to race to Pahang... It was a scary ride as we were racing each other on the highway... Like cutting the double line things... While on the way back, we caught by the traffic police... Hmmm... 1 thing I'll say is, the visit to this temple/place is very very weird... Really!!! When I went for Thaipusam, I felt the crowd is, well, people from JB... But when I went to this temple, I felt like went to India something... The crowd totally doesn't look like they all staying in Malaysia... Hehe... Anways, enjoyed the trip a lot... Quite tiring too...

After the temple, we went to rounding around Kuantan town... Quite different experience too... Me raised in JB environment... So when I looked the places in there, it looked like some historical place... Like hello?? It's town!!! It's suppose to look "modern"... Even the buses also looks like we all living in early 90's... :P

Town bus?

Super old!

JB's Glass Temple Visit

The world's 1st glass temple is located in JB city... Even though it's called temple but it became a tourist site... You know... Taking picture, crowded places and etc... I'm not saying that people shouldn't come here... It's just that the temple is located at a bad places because it makes people hard to go there and secondly, it's superb hot... The whole places is covered with glass... Even though there's air-con ventilation but it's still hot... Hmm... But it's really nice to see how the small little glass makes a great impression once you assemble together...

Today, I went to another temple located near Ulu Tiram because my dad pray something... So had to do some Archanam for that... After that, went back home and sit for while... Then suddenly my friends from KL called me... They ask me to watch some movie...

So, we all went to Today's mall to check out the movies... Got one tamil movie, Asal playing at 3pm... But we're there at 1.30pm already... So off we go to Jusco to check the movies there... You know it's public holiday so the queue in Jusco is veeeerrryyyy long!!! I had to stand in there for several minutes while my friends trying to call the bookline... After few minutes we gave up and went to Today's again... Haha...

We booked the movie and waited for the time... After watching movie, all went back to home... Been a long time since I've met these guys... Enjoyed the movie too... :)
